{"id":22714,"date":"2025-11-29T22:00:25","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T02:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/redshores.ca\/?p=22714"},"modified":"2025-12-03T09:40:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T13:40:13","slug":"bee-two-bee-blasts-home-in-preferred-at-charlottetown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/redshores.ca\/bee-two-bee-blasts-home-in-preferred-at-charlottetown\/","title":{"rendered":"Bee Two Bee Blasts Home In Preferred At Charlottetown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Nicholas Oakes For Red Shores<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CHARLOTTETOWN, PE \u2013 <\/strong>Bee Two Bee used some late kick to capture the $5,500 Preferred Pace on a busy Saturday afternoon at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.<\/p>\n<p>The Ashley Gamester trainee got away sixth in the compact Preferred 1 field in race 15 as Phil My Beer (Marc Campbell) guarded the pylons and cut splits of 27.3, 57.2 and 1:27.1 with Wind Blown (Driven by Corey MacPherson) perched in the pocket. Driver Jason Hughes angled Bee Two Bee ($3.50) second-over at the three-quarters then three-wide off cover and the Sunshine Beach horse did the rest, roaring home in 28 seconds flat to win by a length in 1:55.4 over Wind Blown and Phil My Beer.<\/p>\n<p>Bee Two Bee is owned by Donald MacRae of Vernon Bridge and Blair MacLauchlan of Charlottetown.<\/p>\n<p>The Joe &amp; Steven MacRae Memorial Fall Series had a trio of second-leg splits kicked off by Bold N Bad ($52.90) lighting up the toteboard in the first $4,000 division in race 2. Windsong Quincy (Marc Campbell) was first under the wire but was placed fifth for interference going to the eighth pole, elevating Bold N Bad to the victory. Brett Clow engineered the trip for owner-trainer Deanna Clow of New Haven, with Bugtown Nash (Rob Chappell) and Century Invictus (Norris Rogers) moving up to second and third in the amended order.<\/p>\n<p>Spack Jarrow ($6.20) rolled in the first of the $4,500 splits in race 4. The veteran pacer tracked pacesetter Marleys Boy (Campbell) through fractions of 28, 58 and 1:29.1 then powered past in the lane to score in 1:58.3 for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Raymond White. Mike Slana of Belfast owns and bred the Ameripan Gigolo gelding with Marleys Boy second and Power Of Four (Ryan Desroche) third.<\/p>\n<p>Rosiesmightymoe ($8.00) delivered in the other $4,500 division in race 6 as Gilles Barrieau steered him to victory in 1:58.3 in a tight three-horse finish over Five Star Dragon (Adam Merner) and Im Hungry (Paul Langille).
