Owned by Doug Polley Jr., and Doug Polley Sr., of Amherst, N.S., the six-year-old son of Rockin In Heaven has carved out a solid 2025 campaign in the Island\u2019s top pacing classes. Langille will look to work out a winning trip for the $156,000 career earner after defeating similar in three of his last four starts.<\/p>\n<p>Sauble Attack has the outside post 5 for driver Ken Murphy and trainer Paul Biggar after upsetting last week\u2019s main event with a thrilling closer in 1:55.<\/p>\n<p>Doc Awesome will line up from post 2 with Corey MacPherson at the controls for trainer Darla MacEachern. The All Bets Off gelding continues to fire strong miles, including five straight top-three finishes.<\/p>\n<p>Also in the field are newcomer PL Quicksand (To be driven by Brady Sweet) and Middleton Terror (David Dowling).<\/p>\n<p>The Backstretch Beat sees Brookdale Johnny as the one to beat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrookdale Johnny has been a fixture in Summerside\u2019s top events all season and lands in a favourable spot to add another win to his r\u00e9sum\u00e9. Paul Langille knows exactly how to handle him and his recent lines include sharp final quarters and solid 1:55 performances, proving he\u2019s right where he needs to be form-wise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the 2025 campaign entering its final stretch as the season is scheduled to close Nov. 11, David Dowling continues to lead all Summerside drivers with 55 wins and over $210,000 earned, holding a .412 UDRS average. Corey MacPherson sits second with 53 wins and more than $250,000 in purse earnings, while Paul Langille holds third at 49 victories and $229,000 in earnings. Ken Murphy (43 wins) and Marc Campbell (39 wins) round out the top five in the standings.<\/p>\n<p>On the training side, Earl Watts continues to dominate with 24 wins and more than $147,000 banked, maintaining a strong .340 UTRS.
