{"id":21253,"date":"2025-06-26T22:00:41","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T01:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/redshores.ca\/?p=21253"},"modified":"2025-06-27T15:21:00","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T18:21:00","slug":"bless-me-father-stays-perfect-as-campbell-dominates-thursday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/redshores.ca\/bless-me-father-stays-perfect-as-campbell-dominates-thursday\/","title":{"rendered":"Bless Me Father Stays Perfect As Campbell Dominates Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Nicholas Oakes For Red Shores<\/p>\n<p>CHARLOTTETOWN, PE \u2013 Bless Me Father remained unbeaten in the All Star Cresting Trot Series with a crushing victory in the third and final leg Thursday evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park as part of a five-win evening for driver Marc Campbell.<\/p>\n<p>Three-year-old trotter Bless Me Father ($2.10) was an open-length winner in 1:57.2 in his $7,000 All Star Cresting Trot assignment while setting a new three-year-old trotting gelding track record, erasing the former standard of 1:58.1 set in 2020 by Mabou Ridge. Marc Campbell was in the seat for the Thursday win for owner-trainer Donna Van Meer of Mount Herbert. Southwind Arturo holds the overall three-year-old trot record just a tick faster in 1:57.1.<\/p>\n<p>Marc Campbell\u2019s Thursday dominance didn\u2019t stop with Bless Me Father as he also captured race 2 with Windemere Classie ($3.50) for trainer Earl Watts in a 1:57.1 clocking and with the Landon Campbell trained pair of Galway Girl ($3.50) in 1:56 in race 9 and Woodmere Kennedie ($7.40) in 1:56.3 in the race 14 finale.<\/p>\n<p>Race 12 went to Driver Marc Campbell with Steady Heart ($4.20) in the fifth-straight win for the daughter of Sunfire Blue Chip. Bo Ford trains the 1:55.4 winner.<\/p>\n<p>Rosetown Mary ($5.00) scored in the Pacing Mare\u2019s feature in race 13 with a 1:54.4 victory for trainer-driver Corey MacPherson. Pacesetter Sugar Bowl (Gilles Barrieau) hung on for second ahead of Elm Grove Mistress (David Dowling).
