CHARLOTTETOWN, PE \u2013 Thursday evening cards begin this week as the Spring Meet increases its intensity at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.<\/p>\n
The 11-dash Thursday presentation is set to begin at 6 P.M., at the Capital oval.<\/p>\n
The top event of the evening is carded as the race 10 Fillies and Mares Featured Pace for a $3,900 pot.<\/p>\n
Ms Meaghan Sparkel (To be driven by Ryan Desroche) has rail control for owner-trainer Shayna Toll of Clyde River.<\/p>\n
Post 2 will see Plain Jane (Marc Campbell) make her seasonal debut for trainer Devon Wallace and owner Leigh and Faith Gavin of Sea Cow Pond. The Shadow Play mare last raced in the MacRae Memorial Open Mares Final on Breeder\u2019s Crown Sunday in Charlottetown.<\/p>\n
Lady Devine (Myles Heffernan Sr.) leaves from post 3 from the Jennifer Doyle barn.<\/p>\n
Acefortyfourdome (Jason Hughes) holds downs post 4 for trainer Ashley Gamester and owner Donald MacRae of Vernon Bridge. The Up The Credit eight-year-old was a constant contender at the Fillies and Mares Preferred level in 2024.<\/p>\n
Chip Of Evil (Corey MacPherson) graduates from stakes competition for the first start of her four-year-old season from the Ed Doucette barn and owners Inarush Stable of Kensington. The Arthur Blue Chip lass was a four-time winner last season with $47,281 banked.<\/p>\n
Elm Grove Mistress (David Dowling) completes the field from post 6 for owner-trainer Doyle as she looks to build on her 53 lifetime victories.<\/p>\n
