CHARLOTTETOWN, PE \u2013 Chelski and up and coming driver Damian MacLellan will take on the Thursday evening feature at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.<\/p>\n
The Thursday card starts off at 6 P.M., with Chelski taking rail control in the race 11 $3,850 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace.<\/p>\n
Inverness, N.S., native Damian MacLellan has driven full-time this season at both Island tracks and will be entrusted with the driving duties aboard Chelski again this week at 4-1 morning line odds for owners Jeff and Robert Skinner of Nova Scotia. MacLellan currently sits 10th in the Red Shores Charlottetown driving standings and is in a tie with Gilles Barrieau for ninth at Red Shores Summerside. Chelski and MacLellan have teamed up for two wins, a second and a third from their last four starts.<\/p>\n
Pasta Momma rides a three-race win streak into the event from post 5 with Marc Campbell in the seat for trainer Landon Campbell. The Red Shores Charlottetown track record holder is the morning line favourite.<\/p>\n
Tobins Brownie (To be driven by David Dowling) has post 4 after a runner-up finish to Pasta Momma last week. The Ashley Gamester trained duo of Sugar Bowl (Mark Bradley) and Acefortyfourdome (Jason Hughes) have posts 2 and 3, respectively.<\/p>\n
The Post Time Picks will take the odds for Chelski to map out a winning trip.<\/p>\n
