Stablemate Fern Hill General (Brodie MacPhee) sat second and pounced in the stretch to prevail in a nose decision over second-place Island Beach Boy with Impeccable Shadow (Adam Merner) finishing third. Fern Hill General is owned by Peter Smith of Stratford and Gerald Morrissey of Charlottetown.<\/p>\n<p>Driver MacPhee and trained Weatherbie scored earlier on the card as Shanes Dream had a maiden breaking score of 1:59.1 in race 3.<\/p>\n<p>Driver Brady Sweet and trainer Jeff Holmes teamed up for a pair of wins with Elroy Shiner (1:59.2) in race 9 and Imalookertoo (1:56.2) in race 6.<\/p>\n<p>Howmac Powerball provided the upset of the night as driver Corey MacPherson guided him to a 1:59 win at 17-1 odds for a $983.10 triactor ticket.
